The scope of work for this
“fast-track” project included construction of the
building shell and tenant improvements as well as
site development, rough grading and site preparation
for two additional “conceptual” building pads to
accommodate future project expansion. Construction
of the building consists of a structural steel
frame, masonry walls, and built-up roofing.
Tenant improvements for four of the six stores
were completed by CNI. The remaining two tenant
improvement packages were self-performed by the
respective tenants. |

This project was a complete
interior and exterior renovation where all of the
work was to be done while the store stayed open for
business. The exterior renovation included a “face
lift” to the façade that included new main entry,
canopy glazing, fixtures and more. The interior was
completely demolished and rebuilt in phases. Each
phase included new ceilings, fixtures, in-slab
plumbing, electrical and structural modifications,
floor, ceiling and wall finishes.
It is interesting to note that the sales in the
store actually increased during construction which
is a testimony to CNI’s dedication to quality and
service. |
