This project for the National Guard
was a $1 Million Renovation of a 1958 concrete block
building. The existing roof received a Standing Seam
Steel "modified hip" roof over build, with and an “A
Frame” style Entrance Canopy. Some of the renovation
work included the replacement of the wood antennae
towers with updated aluminum towers, bullet proof
glass and touchup and repair of the existing
exterior stucco façade. Some of the site was
reconfigured and modifications were made to bring
the facility up to the new Department of Homeland
Security Standards.
The interior work consisted of new bathrooms,
offices, and a refurbished kitchen. The bathrooms
received new ceramic tile flooring and walls, new
showers and bathroom fixtures, and new flooring was
through out. Also included in the interior
renovations were new ceilings, painting, additional
insulation for the exterior facing walls, all new
electrical systems, HVAC with state of the art
temperature and equipment monitoring systems. |
