History
Founded in 1975 by D. Dean Haagenson and Robert R. Wheeler, Contractors Northwest's corporate headquarters is located in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The company is now principally owned by Dean Haagenson and the Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Robert Wheeler retired in 2000.
Because of the technical and engineering background of the principal and our staff, Contractors Northwest is ideally suited to more technical commercial, plant, and industrial construction.
Past and current projects include: schools, churches, office buildings, supermarkets, apartments and multi-unit housing, retail outlets, motels, warehouses, mine facilities, water and waste water treatment plants, food processing plants, heavy industrial facilities, hydro-electric power plants, among others.
